The reason Rhodes exists is my own family’s structure.
I co-founded Wurl in 2008 and was its COO when we sold to AppLovin in 2022 — a deal north of $500 million. It was the outcome you dream about when you start a company, and it set my family up in ways I’m grateful for every day. It also made my life complicated, fast: a holding company, a stack of LLCs, trusts, deals across multiple states. On paper: organized. In practice, I couldn’t answer basic questions about my own structure without a research project:
The capital call buried in an email thread.
The amendment our attorney sent last spring.
The K-1 sitting in a CPA’s portal.
The distribution that only existed as a wire confirmation.
What struck me wasn’t that I was disorganized. It’s that the biggest family offices don’t have this problem — because they have people. A controller, a bookkeeper, an operations manager: a staff that reads every document the day it arrives, keeps the records current, and watches the calendar. So when the family wants to know what they own, through what, or what’s due, they don’t search. They call.
Most families with real structure don’t have that staff — and were never going to hire one. Same trusts, same LLCs, same K-1s. And nobody to call.
So that’s what I built. Rhodes is the one you call.
Forward it every document, all year. It reads each one as it arrives and keeps a complete, living picture of your structure: the ownership math straight through every holding company and trust in the chain, the amendment connected to the agreement it amended, the missing K-1 flagged before you ask, every deadline in every state watched.
And every answer traces back to its source — the exact document, the exact page. Not a summary you have to trust. A record you can verify.
I’ve been running my own family’s entities on Rhodes for over a year. If you’re the one your family calls, I’d love to show you what we’re building.
